PAYMENT METHOD:

Payment is made directly to ConnectWrite (CW) online either via postal money order, cashier's check or directly via the net through CyberCash. Initial payment in US currency is due at the time of your service order. Amount of first payment will normally not exceed one week's normal work (40 hours) on this order.

Minimum initial payment is one half of the expected weekly rate for your project. Weekly increments are then payable after each week ends. CW services rendered must be mutually confirmed to be on time and in good order at the time of each billing and payment event. No further work is done or submitted to the client by CW until payment is made. No further work is billable until current work is deemed to be in good order.

PRICES:
Rates vary depending on the type of task, duration of assignment and speed of delivery
(rush jobs cost more!):

  • Formatted text:
    (FrameMaker, Microsoft Word, WordPerfect, Ami Pro, and so on) converted to HTML and or Acrobat.

    $35 per hour.
  • Technical writing:
    (User manuals, installation guides, programming guides, reference manuals, style guides, documentation plans, indexing and the like)

    $50-75 per hour.

  • Technical and grammatical editing:
    $40 per hour.

  • Image and graphics:
    (Format conversions, size reductions, modifications)
    $35 per hour.
  • Online help:
    (authoring - RoboHELP/WinOffice only unless client provides other software.)
    $50-100 per hour.
  • Web site de- and reconstructions:
    ("Windexing", fixing artwork, tables, layout, icons, look and feel, linking strategies, testing, style consistency and adhesion, browser and platform QA issues)
    $75-125 per hour.
  • Knowledge base preparation, linking and systemwide information mapping:
    $60-100 per hour.
  • Digital video from analog video conversions:
    $75 to $125 per hour.
  • Charts, CAD space layouts and storyboard preparation:
    $45 per hour.
  • Animations:
    QuickTime movies, QTVR, real estate/space seller and trade show video demo loops
    $85-150 per hour.
  • Foreign language translations (brokered):
    $150 per hour or more.
  • Remote or onsite telecommuting consultation services:
    (How do you make teleworking successful and cost effective?)
    $75 per hour ( Free for paying customers! )
